Janessa's Story

I started in event planning, managing complex projects for Fortune 500 tech companies (with a couple years of nonprofit event work in there - my mission-driven heart loved this).

While I loved the strategic and logistical challenges, I found myself drawn to the digital side of business - especially helping companies build and grow online in a way that supports their vision for both their business and their life.

That's when JPK Design Co. was born, initially focusing on web design and digital marketing.

But over the next two years, something interesting happened: As I worked with service providers and freelancers, I discovered my sweet spot and love for combining strategic thinking & forecasting with practical every day support. I saw smart people with amazing businesses who needed a strategic partner - someone who could help them grow, while honoring their unique vision.

Today, my offerings have evolved into that of a Digital Business Strategist, which includes Squarespace web design, marketing, and entrepreneurial business consulting. I believe that excellence is in the details, and my core values include growth, connection, integrity and joy.
